Our classroom floor is 1/4 tile and 3/4 thin non padded carpet on cement. We do a majority of learning on the hard floor. My students love to lay on the floor to read and write, but the floor is old and hard. The Learning rug will not only make my room feel homey and warm, it will also be comfortable for tummy reading; both of which are good for learning environments! Students need a variety of places to sit while they learn! Some students like the traditional chairs, while other students do best when they can move. The Wobble Chairs engage students core muscles and help with focus. Both the Wobble Chairs and stools will give my students options throughout the day. Kids learn best when they are comfortable and a hard plastic chair is not for everyone! All of these options will help students focus on learning!
