I will grow professionally by learning current skills and teaching strategies that will allow me to help students use math more effectively. The different strategies learned will be utilized to help differentiate instruction. The technology sessions will help those students interested in robotics or an engineering career pathway. Not all students learn the same way, so I am looking for creative ways to ensure their success. Learning creative ways to teach math will motivate and encourage students to be more proactive in their learning of math. These new strategies can also help students to identify career paths that are geared toward mathematics such as the medical field, code breaking, animal behaviorist, astronomy, and engineering. My students will benefit with learning new math skills which will allow them to broaden their prospective career path. Also, with these new strategies students can contribute to advancements in this technological era.
