Sometimes you just need a break, or a second to calm down and collect your thoughts, and our students do, too! We want to create something to help them do just that! We are making an area to help our students calm down or give them a break when they need one. This area will be our "Calming Zone" to help students transition out of difficult periods throughout the day. We want to make it inviting, yet functional within our classroom. This area, complete with bungee chairs, exercise balls and an area rug, will be used throughout the day with multiple students.
