Utilizing these materials will give students an opportunity to look inside a bee hive and look at components essential to hive health. Students will have the unique opportunity to see the impact we can have the health and viability of the honeybee populations while managing their own hive. Students, with the help of local beekeepers will be responsible for maintaining the hives on campus. Students will be responsible for assembling the hive and conducting research within our hives. In addition to getting a glimpse inside the hive, students will focus on improving and creating habitat for the honeybees and other local pollinators.

About my class
