We all know by now, that not all students learn the same. Flexible seating will allow my students the choice to sit where they learn best. Research has shown that grades improve, kids are happier and more engaged in their learning when alternative seating options are available. The kinds of flexible/alternative seating I'm asking for are bean bag chairs, stools and scoop rockers. The alternative seating options will help my students be more on-task which helps eliminate behavior problems. By having less distractions in our classroom, we can maximize our learning and have fun with it. It's a win-win for all.
