My students are incredible! I teach gifted pull-out programs for third through fifth graders in areas of high poverty. I am constantly amazed at their creativity, intelligence, and problem-solving skills. They are constantly "thinking outside the box" and I am constantly striving to create learning experiences that challenge and engage them. My students are so full of potential and I plan my lessons to help them harness their potential and use it to make a positive impact on their families, communities, and hopefully one day the whole world! These students truly have the capability to change the world and my purpose is to help them do that. My projects are designed to bring in additional materials into the classroom that will guide my students to higher levels of thinking. Gifted students are not your typical students, and therefore my classroom needs additional supplies to meet their additional needs.
