The days of seeing every student in a desk, facing the front of the room, are gone. When they are outside of school, students make choices about where they will sit and what they will sit on, or with, everyday. Students will choose seating that matches their physical and emotional needs. They can choose the rigidness of a desk or the comfort of one of these bean bags. They can choose to work on their own or in the comfort of a small group of classmates. When those needs are met, students will be more able and willing to focus on their learning.

About my class
