Welcome to my teacher page! I am a Title I RT/teacher at Chapelwood Elementary, in Wayne Township (Indianapolis, IN). As a Title I school, over 70% of our student population qualifies for free/reduced lunch. With the reality of so many of our students' struggles within poverty, I am always looking for ways to broaden their horizons, enrich their lives, and give them hope and purpose for the future. My students often do not love to read, which is heartbreaking. I want them to find the value and purpose in reading, and to establish a life-long love of reading.
