With the aid of these materials, my students will be able to engage in hands-on learning in a variety of ways. These activities allow students to practice skills taught previously in a meaningful way. They can be utilized with the teacher, in small groups or independently. With the help of these learning games, our center time will flow smoothly and student needs will be met in both ELA and math according to common core curriculum standards. Learning games also encourage student engagement and social skills through small group work. These materials include self-checking resources for students, which is wonderful for center time activities.
