These materials will help me create a sensory room for my special needs students. A sensory room is a good way to increase their chances of learning and to help them have a happy and calm environment. A sensory room is a great way to help students with special needs. It helps their learning experience be a more positive and calming one conducive to their needs. The point of a sensory room is to calm or stimulate an individual through each of the senses. This is necessary for special needs students so that they can learn academic skills to use for success! The items I'm asking for would make a complete sensory room. They are used for students with disabilities, such as autism. When severely autistic children can have somewhere to stimulate their senses it creates a calming sensation and therefore helps them be more able to learn in the classroom. The materials that I'm asking for are all materials that would be in the sensory room to help do just that. I asked for items that would appeal to the sense of touch, sound, and sight.
