In 6th Grade Mathematics, my classroom is typically flowing from one activity from the next to keep students engaged and on their toes. I like for students to feel comfortable and to contribute in creating the learning environment that is most suitable to them. In Medical Magnet Personal Fitness, I have been given an incredible chance to help a younger generation understand the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. The goals during our class will be to learn about the muscular system, general nutritional guidelines, proper warm up, stretch, and cool down techniques, stress management, and the importance of developing good sleep habits. In my class, students take time to reflect on different classroom experiences to see how what they are learning can impact their daily lives, and how they can learn more about themselves and take ownership of their learning each day.
