I believe all children can learn!!!! In today's classroom teachers are responsible for teaching students and ensuring that they learn and gain one year of achievement despite their skill levels when they enter the classroom at the beginning of the school year. I am a fifth grade Math teacher who is challenged this upcoming school year with the task of educating special education students in the general education classroom, through an approach called inclusion. My school is a Title I school with a large percent of impoverished students who need a great deal of hands on teaching opportunities that also allow for many chances to practice the skills being taught.
