I have 25 fun, loving, silly, and growing 6th graders, each one is special in their own way. This year is a growing year for us, but also a year for us to embrace our class and become more of a family. This is the second year for my scholars to be together in a class. They love each other like brothers and sisters and have each others backs no matter what. As a teacher, I am excited for them! I have enjoyed watching them mature from their immature and unsure 5th grade selfs to their confident and strong 6th grade selfs. I am proud to teach them! Sixth grade is a key time for students to make the transition from elementary into middle school. Sixth grade is the start of school sports, finding new friends, and getting organized. My hope is that they can start their middle school years organized and on top of their studies, that way through the rest of their education they can be a student of integrity and excellence.
