My school closed on March 13th. Since this time, I have been providing students work through Google Classroom. It has been a challenge to design lesson on my own during this time! While I look forward to another year in teaching third grade, I know that my teaching will not look or be the same. I want to give my students as much engagement as I can during these uncertain times! I have had requests from parents for more Google classroom lessons. While I cannot design all these on my own, I know my students would benefit from ready-made lessons. My concern for my upcoming students is not only the "summer slump" but the time missed during our spring time we missed. Third grade in Alabama is a critical year in all areas. We have a lot of ground to cover in a short amount of time! While I am at home, I would love to be providing students the much needed support for the upcoming school year!
