My students are very small and sometimes the larger playground items are a little overwhelming. My students are begging for outdoor things they like to play with, items like bubbles and sidewalk chalk. Because of the state we live in, we have many days where we cannot play outside due to inclement weather, so they also would like some things to play with indoors. The Hopscotch Mat would be amazing; they love hopscotch. We can take the mat outdoors to the sidewalk or indoors in the hallway if the weather isn't good. They also want a sand box with kinetic sand to play with indoors. This items will help keep the students moving and engaged. They are also very active in the classroom and they love to have costumes for dramatic play time. This is where the students really shine; they love dressing up like their heroes, parents, uncles, and neighbors. Keeping these little ones active and moving but engaged and learning, thats what it is all about. They are asking for costumes and a small play area to hang the items. Nutrition is so important at this age and we are asking for a nutrition plate game and food items for the kids to learn about healthy eating.
