When was the last time you felt comfortable in a hard chair? I would love to provide my students some alternatives in the classroom in which to do their work. Some students work best when able to find a comfortable place in the classroom. My students need some fantastic new seating in our classroom. Gone are the days of simply sitting in your chair to do work! I want to provide students with choices like a fantastic lime green rug, a futon and a beanbag chairs.The students in this school deserve the very best learning environment that I can give them. I can't wait to see their faces when they are given a choice besides their desks to do their work. I plan to utilize this new seating in every subject. Students will be able to choose the area that suits them and their learning style! I plan to use the futon and the bean bags to create an inviting place for students to work and read! It will feel like "home" set up with lamps, small work tables and rugs! I can't wait to see my vision come to life!
