My classroom will have a specific "Reading Corner" for students to explore different authors and develop a passion for reading. To make sure this experience is positive for my students, I need a lot of books from different genres and reading levels! With these books in my students' library, we will have the opportunity to engage with a variety of texts, both non-fiction and fiction, while catering to the diverse reading levels represented in the classroom. As my students engage in reading books they've chosen from the library, I believe their reading levels will improve and this improvement will spark an increase in academic performance in all areas!
