Using Chromebooks will allow my students to practice skills necessary to be successful in math now and in the future. Students will be able to work at their individual levels to close performance gaps, increase their confidence, and develop a high interest in math and science. While pencil, paper, and manipulatives will remain an integral part of the mathematics classroom, Chromebooks will provide a platform for students to explore and create in ways beyond the parameters of the traditional classroom, motivating and inspiring students to stretch their imagination and learning to much higher levels. My students will use Chromebooks not only to practice skills but also to research concepts, and create projects and presentations to showcase their learning.
