The materials and supplies I am requesting can do so much to improve my students quality of education. We will use the chart paper and projector everyday to explore new concepts, brainstorm ideas, and debunk misconceptions. The classroom mailbox will be found in the front of the classroom, filled will weekly goal sheets, school newsletter, and activities that will strengthen the home-school connection. Arguably the most important items we are requesting are the abundance of books for our class library. Students will use the books everyday during independent reading, guided reading, and interactive read alouds. Learning is such a pivotal aspect of the human existence and not having the proper tools to succeed is truly a tragedy of the greatest proportion. These donations will allow my students to acquire knowledge in more meaningful and lasting ways. Many of us have been fortunate enough to have had a memorable teacher or grade that really inspired us to be better than we are. This is what I want to give to my students and with your help and generosity we can!
