My classroom is filled with flexible seating for my students. Our rug is a central gathering place for us to go during learning times. Our current rug is a hand-me-down from a retired teacher. It is stained and falling apart. We need a new comfortable place for us to use. We gather on our rug for whole group instruction and our morning meetings. It's where we start and end our day together. Some of my students even prefer to stretch out on the rug during independent work time. When students feel comfortable in their space, they can spend all of their energy focused on their learning. This rug will help create a comfortable learning environment for everyone!
