I teach first grade at Nash Elementary. In my class we love to laugh, learn, and encourage one another. We are part of a Leader in Me Lighthouse School. We incorporate leadership into everything we do in our classroom. We use the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People in our learning, in how we interact with each other, and through involvement in our community. Goal setting is a major part of what we do, as my students and I all set personal and academic goals each year. We track our goals and celebrate with one another as we reach them. Goal setting has made an amazing difference in my students' academic progress.
