Children love art! I teach Language Arts to 6th and 7th graders in a rural school setting. This is an arts-integrated program I started several years ago because our school system provides no formal art instruction for middle school students. Each writing project that we do has some sort of fine arts component. This keeps the kids interested and wondering what will come next.
