My classroom is filled with wonderful 5th graders eager to learn. We are actively engaged in learning to become stronger readers and writers. Unfortunately, some of my students do not arrive to school with all the resources necessary to be successful. Over 98% of my students qualify for free lunch, and require additional supports. To help my students become engaged and eager learners, any donation is appreciated. Small items such as pencils and erasers can go a long way in ensuring that my students do not have to worry about supplies when they come to school. Other items go toward completing exciting projects or making the classroom warm and welcoming. My students deserve to come to school, excited to learn, knowing that they are cared for. My students face many challenges outside of school, so I desire to make my classroom a safe and comfortable place.
