Welcome to Maple Creek School, the little school house in the big woods. We are a two-room school that serves TK - 8th grade students who live in a very rural part of northwestern California. The nearest services to the school are a 50-minute drive along a narrow, winding old, but still-used logging road. Due to the small size, we are able to create and implement independent learning plans for each student. That's the positive side. The negative side is the small budget we have to purchase the materials needed to achieve our goals.
