I work at a Title I school, where the majority of my students don't have enough fund for personal needs, let alone supplies needed to help them learn and grow in the classroom. One of the things my students love most is that I let them borrow my personal books to take home and read. I taught 26 first graders last year. This fall I will be teaching Third Grade. Of my 26 students, about half are English Learners. My students are eager to come to school to learn despite the struggles they faces at home. They are always excited to learn new concepts and are the most enthusiastic students I have ever had the pleasure to teach. We always find way to solve problems and learn together. I really had fun and enjoyed teaching my first graders last year. This fall I will be teaching third grade..
