An iPod and a speaker system will give us access to a variety of music. Using this updated technology will give the students greater opportunities to have a playlist already programed. We use music to learn new shapes, colors, numbers, letters, high frequency words, physical activity, and healthy play. This project provides movement and stimulation for developing critical thinking skills. As the students transition throughout the day, music is used as a management tool, especially when we are not able to make it outside on rainy days. On a daily basis, I will use music to empower, inspire, and develop my students. Besides, music is just plain fun and gives children a way to express themselves through a positive outlet!
