Strong Math Skills lead to more opportunities for students. I teach Algebra I to freshman at the high school level in a charter school. Our school has approximately 50% of its students on free/reduced lunch. The mission of our charter is to educate ALL students to be prepared to enter college upon graduation. This means that the students in my class must pass Algebra II in order to graduate.
