This year, I am hoping to remove all of my student desks from my classroom and replace them with multiple flexible seating options. My lesson plans for the year require my students to be continuously moving around the classroom. Flexible seating will help make these transitions smoother and keep student engagement high. Flexible seating will help students feel a sense of choice inside of the classroom. Flexible seating is proven to increase student engagement and aid students to be more productive. I am hoping this project will allow my students to choose a comfortable spot in the classroom which will guide their confidence while learning!
