One of my primary jobs is to help students work to have control over their emotions and be respectful friends. Some of my students struggle with exhibiting their emotions appropriately and controlling their impulses. I would like to create a positive space with materials that will help my students calm down and regulate their emotions. Some items I would like are fidgets, playdough, and books that help with beginning conversations about being in control of themselves and their bodies. To help my students, I also want to utilize music to help set a mood of mindfulness and calm. In order to store materials I am asking for a organizer and canvas storage baskets.
