My students are from a small community in St. Louis, Missouri. Students come from a variety of different backgrounds and my classroom is full of diverse learners and personalities each year. Some of my students come to school with high attention and behavioral needs, but all persevere through challenges on a daily basis. The community is extremely close, and there is a sense of pride for our community and school! As a school, our goal is for every student to discover who they are and feel empowered. My students benefit from hands-on learning and thrive when they are given opportunities to move around, try something new, and be their authentic full selves in the classroom. My students deserve to have equitable access to opportunities and resources, so your support of our students means the world!
