Stand-up desks! When 3 students asked about them it was time to figure out how we could get some for our classroom. The research shows that students are more alert and focused when they stand up. Students that like to fidget have the opportunity to move by shifting their weight during instruction without bothering others. While this is the largest project I've put on donorschoose.org and may take a while to obtain funding, we will be able to use these desks for many years to come. Thank you for taking the time to view my project and help my students be successful. :-)
