Watching my students sitting uncomfortably in their chairs all day long is depressing! We take brain breaks and I try to incorporate movement as much as possible. Recently I asked them what they'd like to use ir have available during brain breaks, their ideas were amazing! We talked about ways we could get the bikes and balance equipment in a central location so everyone in our school could potentially benefit from this. One child suggested a room kind of like our computer lab - he said " brain break lab!" All kids cheered his comment as did I. They've come up with am awesome idea to help promote health and fitness in our school and we'd love your support in achieving this student led plan!
