I have the awesome responsibility of teaching psychology to a spectacular group of 11th and 12th graders. My students come from all sorts of backgrounds and are a dynamic group. The majority of the students at my school are from low income households and many of my students are the first in their families to pursue advanced academic electives (like psychology and AP psych) and a college education. I believe that it is vital that our classroom is warm, inviting and conducive to learning. I always want my room to be a "safe" place where students can feel secure, let down their defenses, and learn about themselves and others.

About my class
