My students come from a very low-income community, with very limited exposures to rich texts. Many of my students have never even visited the public library. My older students often do not like to read in front of their peers, as their reading levels are so far behind grade level. I would like to provide high-interest low-level rich texts to my students to help them fall in love with reading. I have chosen some books for students to read independently or with audio. I have also chosen some for guided reading. Your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
