I want my scholars to feel comfortable and safe when they come to school, and as their teacher, I want to be able to provide them with materials they will need in order to learn. Because north Minneapolis is one of the top low income cities in the U.S., I don't want my scholars to worry about whether or not they will be able to afford school supplies, but instead thinking about their potential in learning and succeeding in life. These school supplies will be able to provide my scholars the ability to learn and grow, and effectively learn to their best potential. Once they are fully equipped with the materials they need for learning, I believe my scholars will feel comfortable and confident to learn in second grade.

About my class
