My students need activities that focus on hands on learning. Our students will use these materials to explore their ability through building, drawing, counting, making letters and sounds, and then words! These activities will be used during learning center times throughout the day as we read and write while learning together. They will be able to use these manipulatives during our whole group and small group time, learning to as they make words, numbers, and sets as we explore counting skills. Your generous donation to our project will improve our pre-k classroom by building a stronger reader and writer. This will change our students' lives for the better. They will love school and feel success at an early age because they are having fun while learning! We are asking for active play steam kits so that our students can learn with hands on activities. We also need light table materials to use with our new light table, this will allow children to play with simple toys in new and exciting ways, unlocking a world of creativity. Some of the best pre-k play is sensory play. The water stem kit will allow students a different way to have there sensory needs met while challenging them intellectually. Block play helps students use their imaginations and ingenuity to bring their creations to life. I am looking for stem kits that help make my class more successful, sucess in pre-k helps set the tone for the students education career.
