I am requesting 2 Osmo's for my classroom. I currently have 2 Ipads that we regularly use in the classroom. I have had the opportunity to watch students use this device with the Ipad in a first grade classroom. I see the joy on the students faces when they have made a word and they recognize that word. The students feel successful at whatever level they are currently working at because I can create what I want the children to work on at that station. I feel that the students will have a more productive use of their time at the station using the Osmo because it is centered around their success and it is something they will continue to enjoy using through out the school year. This is why I am asking for the Genius set to include other activities that will work all year.
