This was my first attempt with a partial flexible seating classroom. It was the best decision that I could have made for my students. My students were able to choose where they would like to sit while working. They were able to sit in cushioned rocking chairs, pillows around tables low to the ground, or standard chairs to enhance their learning. I quickly noticed a positive change in my classroom climate and I strongly believe it was due to the implementation of flexible seating. The students enjoyed selecting their seats and were able to work longer because they were comfortable.
