Students have limited classroom space to organize their personal belongs and learning materials. The Chair Mate pocket will encourage them to prioritize materials, organize folders, and become more efficient with time management skills. Being disorganized can lead to frustration, inability to focus on important tasks, and opportunities to interact with peers. This resource will allow students to have needed resources available and save time in preparing to participate in learning activities. Independent learners are more successful when they are organized and focused on using resources in a timely manner. Each student will have their own personal space to organize materials using the Chair Mate pocket. This will also allow for students group projects to be able to use table space more effectively without personal items taking up space.
