Handwriting is very important in all subject areas. I stress the importance of writing neatly. Year before last my students did not complete Kindergarten due to COVID-19. These students were out of school in March, therefore they lack skills from that school year. These materials will be used on a daily basis to help students improve formation and neatness of their handwriting. The workbooks might be taken home periodically for extra practice. A student having their own personal workbook helps the child feel responsible. Whereas a loose sheet of paper, that is being used now as practice, is just another sheet of paper to a child. Having these workbooks will be beneficial to my students.
