Using these giant floor pillows will allow my students another "choice" with my flexible classroom seating. Flexible seating allows students to choose where they sit in the classroom to maximize their attention and creates more engaged learners. It is my hope that, through the flexible seating (giant floor pillows), students will have a increased desire to learn. Although I have not tried this style of learning in my traditional classroom before, I am excited about the opportunities it will present my students. This option will hopefully create more student involvement and help students take ownership of their own learning environment.
