The Fearless Fourth are using their growth mindset to recover from set-backs and mistakes, and to turn failing into winning. Our class comes from diverse backgrounds, and we use cultural and social inclusion in our class. We celebrate our mistakes, and we break down walls. We focus on competing with ourselves, decided to be fascinated by what we do, and to persevere when things get rough. We hold each other up, and we give each other the benefit of the doubt. When we practice math, we think of aspects at which we do well, we identify where we struggle, and we think of novel and creative ways to bring our learning to the next level. When we practice language arts, we focus on organizing our work and providing a framework and guideposts for readers. We focus on upgrading our reading fluency and comprehension by research-based practices. In science, we get our hands dirty in project-based learning. Fear is Wack!
