The new technology in the classroom will help my students reach digital places that are very hard to reach. The Chromebooks will help us build a fully blended learning classroom. Students will be able to use free, digital curriculum to learn various concepts at a faster pace. Blended learning has been researched and proven to be a modern approach to improve learning and student achievement. A virtual reality system will connect students to an outside world that will produce more interest in their own learning. Virtual reality will reveal new places, people, and events to my students. Students from low socioeconomic backgrounds do not have full access to resources to explore the world. VR systems will provide this amazing experience. Exposure to new content will improve students' attitudes towards learning and will result in better classroom performance.
