My students need hands-on experience dissecting fetal pigs to gain knowledge on internal and external anatomy. This activity correlates with our anatomy and physiology unit for our animal science classes. Students will use this lab as a teaching tool is see up close the internal organs of animals. Our class is structured to allow hands-on laboratory experience in the vet industry. Students begin the unit learning about all systems of the body. We focus on circulatory system and muscular skeletal system. Students get to take their knowledge to a how new level by seeing up close and personal the internal structures of the animal.
