Children learn better when they are in a comfortable environment. The option of flexible seating helps in creating a more comfortable environment for learning. A choice of alternative seating helps with concentration and participation from what I have seen in other classrooms and the previous year. I was lucky enough that another teacher in my school allowed me to borrow some of her flexible seating, which I returned at the end of the year. Flexible seating allows for students to have a choice in how they can comfortably learn in the classroom. For example, wobble chairs help students focus more in the classroom because they allow for movement while learning! That is why I am super excited about the idea that I would be able to utilize flexible seating in my room! Please help my students have a more successful year by donating to this project!
