I teach in a crowded computer lab. My students work out of class sets of binders arranged by units, but there is little room for the binders at their workstations. The kids are great sports, positioning the binders in the best ways they can, but it still is not the optimum way for them to work. Having document holders, or computer arms as I call them, will enable my students to work more efficiently. Assignments can be taken out of the binders and clipped into the arms. Thus, the copy and monitor will be side by side in the students' direct line of sight, which is the best placement.
