My school is located in a well-established neighborhood in our city. The student population is varied and includes families from the upper middle class to the lower socio-economic class and military families. We have a free and reduced lunch population of 41%. Our school serves students in grades K-5. The students are friendly, compassionate, and inquisitive. While we are not a Title I school, we are also not a rich school. It is a struggle to find "extra" money to purchase non-essential equipment that students need to keep up with the ever-changing world of technology.
