Chromebooks will be a huge addition to our classroom because it will allow us to add new technology to our existing laptops which will allow more students to be actively engaged in learning. While we are thankful for our current resources, they are often outdated and unreliable. We use our computers to extend our learning through the use of Compass Odyssey, an individualized learning program that matches activities to the level of the student. Additionally, we use them to research subjects we are currently studying in class. Finally, we use them to take Accelerated Reader Programs which help us reach our goals for reading.
