By having technology available my students will have other means of practicing their reading skills other than through paper/pencil, books. They will be given instruction by me as well using the computers in small stations to practice the learning. Though our students live in a digital world, some do not have access at home to develop skills that will guide them now and in the future. I want them to be competitive in the digital market. So this is a two fold project. Learning to read and learning how to use computers! Giving low income students the opportunity to develop the love for reading by learning how through technology is my goal.
