All of the materials here will be used for students to work on writing as well as other subjects kinesthetically. The white boards have a multitude of purposes. They will be used for quick assessment, for practice during lessons and in small and large groups. These white boards are great because students can use them anywhere in the classroom. My students need clipboards to complete read and write around the room activities. This is where the child finds words posted around the room and writes them down. It gets students moving, and they are engaged in their learning. They will also be used for science, documenting experiments, taking surveys, and observations from nature walks. My students need to be able to create words and then write them. Using magnetic letters is a great way for them to create the words instead of just copying. These dual colored letters can be used for students at varying reading levels. For example: students could work on making long vowel word or matching and identifying letters. My students need many fun and engaging ways to create and practice words. The Wiki Stix and alphabet cards are great for my ELL learners and tactile students. It is also helping students with the fine motor skills they need to be able to write.
